Services for Mary Mae McDaniel, 81, Edgewood, were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, at New Hope Funeral Home, Sunnyvale, with Bro. Dan Carroll and Bro. Lanny Elmore officiating.
Burial was in Long Creek Cemetery, Sunnyvale.
Mrs. McDaniel died September 14, 2008.
She was born April 14, 1927 to W.P. and Dora McEvoy. She graduated from Forest Avenue High School with honors. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Edgewood and a member of the Board Elwood Home Extension Cub. She served as a member of the Edgewood Cemetery Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 56 years, John W. McDaniel.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Bill Young, and Joy and Rod Vike; son and daughter-in-law, John and Pam McDaniel Jr.; grandchildren, Clint, Will and Shawn Young, Rodney Vike, and wife Wendi, Chris Vike, and wife Julie, Dustin Dean, and wife Lori, and Paige and Brooke McDaniel; and great-grandchildren, Hannah, Stephanie, Trevor, Baylie, Emalie, Madison and Ben Vike.
