Services for Sandra Kay Ward, 47, Jefferson, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 3, at The Colonial Chapel of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home with Grandol Forehand officiating.
Burial was in Mims Chapel Cemetery, Marion County.
Mrs. Ward died September 28, 2008, at her residence.
She was born December 2, 1960, in Athens to Evelyn Fondell and Maurice Wilson Henderson. She was a Church of Christ member. She worked as a nurse about 15 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Evelyn Henderson; sister, Mary Henderson; and brother, Michael Henderson.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney Ward, Jefferson; children, Jennifer Eckhoff, Sara Eckhoff and Heather Eckhoff, all of Tyler, and Christina Eckhoff, Marshall; grandchildren, Kylie Lu, Haleigh Eckhoff-Grubbs, Caden Sand, Michael Ward, Noah Ward, and Liliana Ward; sisters, Theresa Hester, Ben Wheeler, Joy Lancaster, Elm Mont, and Lorie Fletcher and Holly Hannie, both of Tyler; and brother, Mitchel Henderson, Longview.
Pallbearers included George Paul Fletcher, Steven Fletcher, Clint Odom and Christopher Micheal Sand.
