Quinlan Schools Begin

Students in Quinlan ISD kicked off the 2008-2009 school year this past week, and superintendent Michael French says it was a bright start.

French succinctly describes Quinlan schools as a place where "students are learning, teachers are teaching, and the halls are quiet."

Total enrollment in the district as of August 29, is 2,582 students. French said these students may also look sharper this year as he emphasizes the importance of adherence to the district’s dress code policy. Above all, however, French notes that the success of this school year will lie in the district’s "ongoing focus on high level instruction."
