Grady Wallace, the general manager of the new Fairfield Inn hotel in Van, was a guest speaker Feb. 7 at the monthly Van Area Chamber of Commerce Luncheon downtown at the Movie House. Wallace announced that the target date for the opening of the new hotel is Tuesday, May 9. The 74-unit hotel will feature a meeting room, an indoor pool and a workout facility.
