National Library week April 10-15

This week at the Van Zandt County Library continues with the theme, “Variety is the Spice of Life.” The Family Fun Night will be from 6 to 8 p.m., April 6. Attendees are encouraged to bring board games and dominoes and to have a good time.

Storytime will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 7. Ms. Rhonda will be reading books about Easter. This is an exciting time for the preschoolers and it will be fun to see them as they listen and work on their craft project.

The week of April 9 – 15 is National Library Week. The library staff and Friends of the Library will join forces to have interesting programs to celebrate.

At 10 a.m. Monday, April 10 the FOL will hold its regular meeting. Come to the Buchanan Room and hear Sarah Elizabeth Sawyer, the “Choctaw Storyteller,” speak.
