Moore honored following dominant week

West Texas A&M infielder Kylee Moore took home Lone Star Conference Softball Hitter of the Week recognition after going 7/9 with three doubles, three home runs and 7 RBIs. 

Former Van Lady Vandal and current West Texas A&M Lady Buff infielder Kylee Moore recently capped a week to remember, earning multiple conference and national honors for her performance on the diamond.

The daughter of Jeff and Misty Moore, Kylee was recognized this past week as the Lone Star Conference Softball Hitter of the Week, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association/Louisville Slugger Division II National Player of the Week, and the fan voted herosports.com D2 Softball Offensive HERO of the Week.

In a press release announcing the LSC Softball Hitter of the Week honors, the Lone Star Conference noted “West Texas A&M sophomore infielder Kylee Moore has been named the Lone Star Conference Softball Hitter of the Week announced by the league's offices in Richardson, Texas on Tuesday afternoon.
