LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Body
Dear Editor:
We met a great Samaritan on the Old Bethel Road (VZCR 2301) on Tuesday, Aug. 31. We pulled off after having a blowout. A young man stopped and insisted on helping, assuring us repeatedly that it was “no big deal.” In a blazing sun nearing 100 degrees, he laid on a thin blanket on very hot pavement and proficiently changed the tire, a daunting task for my husband due to recent surgery. He repeatedly, cheerfully, refused our offers of money, saying “just help someone else.” He will never know the gratitude we feel, or the wonderful example he provided of a great American. Thank you, Dustin B.!
