The James Pinckney Henderson Chapter, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, awarded the Johnnie Lee Pitman Memorial Scholarship to Van High School graduating senior, Justin Todd Burch. Justin is the son of Todd and Amanda Burch and the grandson of Sue Baugh of Canton. DRT Chapter President, Carrie Woolverton, congratulated Justin on his impressive accomplishments during his high school years. Justin plans to major in physical therapy. He is a seventh generation Texan, having an ancestor who fought at the Battle of San Jacinto. Sue Baugh stands with Amanda, Todd and Justin Burch with DAR Chapter President Carrie Woolverton.
