Services for Garry Winn were held on Saturday, March 23 at Hilliard Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Meadows officiating. Visitation was held one hour before the service and a graveside service followed at Sand Flat Cemetery.

Garry Lee Winn was born November 11, 1956, in Wills Point. He had been a resident of Grand Saline for four years, formerly living in Mesquite. He worked for the water department of the City of Dallas for 32 years, retiring in 2015. He was a water line inspector and competed in pipe tapping for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Garry passed away at the age of 67 on March 18, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Winn and Audrey Allen Winn and his brothers, Edward Winn, Albert Wayne Winn, and Milton Winn.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Debbie Winn of Grand Saline; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Stacie Winn of Grand Saline, and James and Christi Winn of Mesquite; brother and sister-in-law, Larry & Susan Winn of Dallas; sister, Glenda Winn of Fruitvale; two grandchildren, Bryce and Britany; and two great-grandchildren, Easton and Paisleigh.

Pallbearers were Randy Winn, James Winn, Bryce Winn, Michael Winn, Larry Winn, and Forrest Allen.
